Life Happens ~ #ButGod ~

“But God . . .” The revelation of the Almighty that makes the course of adversity stop in its tracks as He intervenes and speaks His will:

– “You meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive”  ~~ (Gen. 50:20).

– “Their beauty shall be consumed in the grave . . . . But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave” ~~ (Ps. 49:14-15).

– “My flesh and my heart fail; but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever” ~~ (Ps. 73:26).

– “For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” ~~ (Rom. 5:7-8).

– “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard . . . the things which God has prepared for those who love Him. But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit” ~~ (1 Cor. 2:9-10).

Whenever you feel discouraged, whenever you feel the weight of the world coming down on you, whenever you feel like you’re going deeper and deeper into a hole –  look to the hills from whence your help comes (Ps 121:1) and remember the times when a “but God” intervention happened and be reassured of God’s love and involvement in the lives of those who love Him.

Creator of the universe

Who reigns in awesome majesty:

How can it be that You’re involved

With such a one as me?

Who am I that you are mindful of me? (Ps 8:4)

Your #Blessing May Just Be Seeing Someone Else’s! ~

I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living (Ps 27:13)~ There is nothing like the believing hope of eternal life, the foresights of that glory, and foretastes of those pleasures, to keep us from fainting under all calamities. Life can be awesome one minute and a downpour of trials the next, but seeing God work, even in someone else’s life somehow strengthens me to bear up under my burdens. Knowing that God is always at work for us keeps me inspired to pray in faith, knowing that ultimately He will deliver me in trials and keep me from destruction. Sometimes your blessing comes from seeing Him bless someone else! Let us encourage each other to wait on the Lord, with patient expectation, and fervent prayer. It may be the deliverance of your own favor!

Know Your Place! Take Your Place! #Authority ~

And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven (Matt 16:19)~~Jesus restored us to our rightful place through His life, death and resurrection. What we lost in Eden through the sin of Adam and Eve, we have restored to us in the finished work of Jesus. In that, we need to understand our authority…and many of us do not; we just accept what we see around us. We are guilty of walking with The Lord but not knowing just how much we have IN Him. We need to move beyond that! This revelation of Christ tells us of our authority…we are rooted in who He is…we need to understand it so that we can truly walk in it!  He came that we may have life, and have it more abundantly; we were not meant for life to have us! We were not meant to be conformed to the world. We are meant to be transformed despite the world! We were meant to have authority in the world – we were meant to impact the world! In Him we have this victory and are even so more than conquetors. Get to know God’s provision and plan (Jer 29:11) that has been in place long before you were in existence (Jer 1:5), that you may know and assume your rightful place!  Take Authority! Take Your Place!

#Faith Doesn’t Come From A Monologue! Have You Heard? ~

Prayer: the Monologue: Leaving God a message, saying what you have to say, hanging up with an “Amen”, but not hearing the Word…

No wonder you have no faith…

Prayer: the Dialogue… the ‘conversation’ that lets God get a word in to you and turns salvation into a close personal relationship…

Faith comes by HEARING and hearing by the Word of God. (Rom 10:17)

To God Be The Glory! #TGBTG ~

Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before Him: worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness (1 Chr 16:29); O give thanks unto the Lord; for He is good; for His mercy endureth for ever. And say ye, Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us together, and deliver us from the heathen, that we may give thanks to thy holy name, and glory in thy praise. Blessed be the Lord God of Israel for ever and ever. And all the people said, Amen, and praised The Lord (1 Chr 16:34-36)~ man will throw a party and celebrate just about anything … we will create holidays and let the world know of our galas! If only we put that same effort of excitement into Him that truly sustains us! Let us show our celebration of The Lord! Let God be glorified in our praises. Let others be edified and taught, that strangers to Him may be led to adore Him. Let us ourselves triumph and trust in God. Those that give glory to God’s name are allowed to glory in it. Let the everlasting covenant be the great matter of our joy and praise. Let us be mindful of His promise and take joy in offering Him praise. Let God’s former mercies to His people of old, be remembered by us with thankfulness to Him. We have reason to celebrate Him from day to day; for we daily receive the benefit, and it is a subject that can never be exhausted. Give thanks unto the Lord, call upon His name, make known his deeds among the people (1 Chr 16:8). Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. (Ps 150:6)

We Must #Pray ~

I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting (1 Tim 2:8)~ Prayer is not to be confined to any one particular house of prayer, but we must pray everywhere. We must pray in our closets, pray in our families, pray at our meals, pray when we are on journeys, and pray in the solemn assemblies. We must pray in charity; without wrath, or malice, or anger at any person. We must pray in faith, without doubting, and without disputing; with our hearts in the right place! Prayer is not just for Sunday services and Wednesday Bible study, but should happen day and night; there is no time or place where our communion with God is inappropriate. — prayer is something we can’t do too much of and should never limit ourselves to a specific time or place! I mean really, you don’t want God to limit when or where He blesses you….do you? Finally, prayer doesn’t have to be an organized and choreographed activity… Pray by yourself! Some things are better left to you and God anyway! Bottom line, we find the substance of our hope if we pray!

Joy To The World! #MerryCHRISTmas ~

And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. (Luke 2:10-14) Merry CHRISTmas family! God Bless U!

Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace! #Savior #Christmas ~

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace (Isa 9:6)~ For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16)~ He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? (Rom 8:32)~ For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Rom 8:38-39)~ My friend, as you celebrate this joyous week, which peaks with Christmas, a day of gifts, may you remember the greatest of all gifts given to us by Our Lord! People give of themselves, but the gift God has given us is matched by none…a gift of supreme sacrifice but with the greatest reward of a promise yet to come! Our gifts to each other may bring fond memories but the gifts themselves eventually perish, but the love of The Lord shall never diminish nor perish. May you experience His greatest of blessings on this joyous Christmas! Merry Christmas, grace, peace and blessings to you!

The truth is: #GodIs ~

And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed (Deut 31:8)~ Things around you may seem so out of hand. You may not know what your next step is going to be! God may even seem distant to you! Your mind is full of thoughts asking “Why, Lord?”. And there seems to be little circumstances that even mock you for believing in God… challenging you and almost asking you “Where is your God now?”. But the devil is a liar! Don’t fall for the trickery! Those carnal and evil weapons of confusion, unbelief and fear, they are hot coals that will burn you the longer you hold on to them. DROP IT!!! They were formed against you and cannot prosper unless you hold onto them and let them consume you! The truth is: God IS!!! Though you can’t always trace Him, you CAN always trust Him. Don’t worry about the things you see…but remember what you have already overcome; God would not bring you this far through so many things to forget you. The Lord, He IS: Always present in our lives; He IS: Over all things; He IS the one who goes before us; He IS the fixer of every situation and trial and He IS the One who never forsakes the righteous in Him. Friend, be strong and of Good courage, God IS wherever, whenever and whatever you need Him to be … In fact, He’s not only with you; He’s GOT you!

It’s Not What Your Going Through But Where God Is Taking You! #Purpose ~

And we know all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose (Rom 8:28) ~ Your trials can work for you. How you ask? Perception – Look for the lesson God is teaching–stop looking AT and look PAST the circumstance for it is not the end! Don’t be so wrapped up in the process and the heartache that you can’t focus on the purpose ; where He is taking you! Listen to what you speak on it- death and life is in your own speaking! Shift your conversation to where God is taking you TO rather than what you’re going through! Stop the whining and the pity-party; But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy (1 Peter 4:13)
