Even Now, God is Still God & HIS Truth is Still THE #Truth –

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6); For I am the Lord, I change not (Mal 3:6); For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. (Rev 22:18-19)~~ Somewhere along the way, different divisions of “man” made the decision that God’s position of His identity and His diety were not as He said…at least not anymore.  We have taken it upon ourselves to diminish His truth. ..even turning it into a lie and writing our own (edited and abridged to fit our ways, means and desires) versions of His Word. But the Bible is more than an ancient series of writings handed down through generations as many will say. The true Bible points to the eternal Book of Life; It is a book that shuts out from heaven all wicked and unrighteous persons, particularly those who love and make lies, therefore cannot itself be a lie. There is no middle place or condition. Revisions can only change “spoken language” but truth is truth and cannot be added to, modified, omitted or otherwise manipulated for the pursuit of one’s choice. All are condemned who should dare to corrupt or change the word of God, either by adding to it, or taking from it. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God (John 1:1). His Word is THE Word, without discussion, deliberation or debate and He who (by the way) began the beginning IS, always was and always will be… God!

Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God (Ps 90:2)

Stop the Ignorance! Stop #Racism Now! –

Unfortunately, Racism will not go away anytime soon– despite all the efforts from people to proclaim our society as post-racial. We keep seeing examples Of racism and the more people speak against it the more supporters of racist views rear their heads …ugliness… right in our own neighborhoods… It shows you just how disrespectful people are today and how low a value is placed on human life just because the race is different!

A sad truth is that the more people start to realize the power of their ugly, bigoted words and actions… The more they just keep USING them; No matter what the extreme, from laughing at or posting a stereotypical joke on social media to committing a hate crime because we have that nagging urge to dislike someone that’s not like us. Racism is more prevalent today than it ever was and if not for the laws protecting the human rights of the targets of this ugly cancer of society, things would be much worse. The only reason the crimes aren’t any worse is because the fear of retaliation or punitive recourse holds force… for now!

People, we need to go above our horrible base instincts of ignorance and lay off the acts steeped in belittling a culture other than our own. There is NOT ONE justifiable reason for racism to exist!!! There is NO EXCUSE for the ugliness that happens: If “whoever” is good enough for God then they have to be good enough for the “people” of God! Jesus is not looking at the color of someone’s skin but the condition of their heart. Why would God bring the nations and races and souls together in Heaven but keep them separate on Earth? Being “unequally yoked” isn’t about race, it’s about religion. Jesus has interracial marriages in his lineage. Are you better than Him? It doesn’t matter that your ancestors have been this way for generations…. we love to bring up what happened hundreds of years ago as our reason for not liking someone. Half of us don’t understand or even TRY to understand why, we just do it because it’s the way our families or our communities have been all of our lives…no wonder things are so backwards!!! When your family values are rooted in sin, it’s time to change your family values. Nobody’s born a bigot; it’s a learned behavior. This behavior always leads to us treating people how Jesus would never treat people. Hatred, Unforgiveness, Anger, Arrogance, Racism… not liking the person because their skin is a different color, their beliefs and heritages are different, their likes and dislikes don’t match ours… these things are always rooted in ignorance. We need to Stop defending the ignorance…. we really aren’t any better than the next person! Just END IT NOW!!! For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to EVERY man the measure of faith. For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another (Rom 12:3-5).

Don’t #Tolerate What is Wrong. It Can’t #CoExist With God-

For the upright will inhabit the land, and those with integrity will remain in it, but the wicked will be cut off from the land, and the treacherous will be rooted out of it. – Proverbs 2:21-22~~ It is so easy to compromise on the Word of God and call it tolerance and inclusion. Even in the church, a person who is not tolerant of anything, and against the Word, is often condemned as being “Unchristian.” The argument for tolerance is that Jesus was tolerant of all sinners – and that is correct. However, don’t forget that Jesus freely accepted, loved and hung out with sinners; He never tolerated their sin. Whether He was speaking to the religious hypocrites, the genuine truth-seeker or the general populace, His message was always, “Repent,” and, “Go and sin no more,” He makes no bones about the fact that sin cannot exist with God (Mat 13:41-42.) We must be very careful to guard the Word of God and speak its truth without compromise. Don’t gloss over it with lies about tolerance of sin. Only through Christ can anyone be saved. All who are without Him are doomed to pay. There is no in-between.

Jesus IS God! Know the #Truth People! –

Overhearing a conversation recently, I heard someone say “Jesus is NOT God – KNOW This People”. Friends, this is the type of misleading message that we as Christians are called to answer to. I just wonder how many people heard that and agreed (yes, disturbing and I’ll tell you why in a minute). There are some questions I would have liked to ask that person about why they made that comment – but it’s clear to me that the Bible itself was not factor in the reasoning of that statement unless that person is intent on making the truth of the Word into a lie!

But let’s look at this Question: “Is Jesus God? Did Jesus ever claim to be God?”

The Bible never records Jesus saying the precise words, “I am God.” That does not mean, however, that He did not proclaim that He is God. Take for example Jesus’ words in John 10:30, “I and the Father are one.” We need only to look at the Jews’ reaction to His statement to know He was claiming to be God. They tried to stone Him for this very reason: “You, a mere man, claim to be God” (John 10:33). The Jews understood exactly what Jesus was claiming—deity. When Jesus declared, “I and the Father are one,” He was saying that He and the Father are of one nature and essence. John 8:58 is another example. Jesus declared, “I tell you the truth … before Abraham was born, I am!” Jews who heard this statement responded by taking up stones to kill Him for blasphemy, as the Mosaic Law commanded (Leviticus 24:14-16).

John reiterates the concept of Jesus’ deity: “The Word [Jesus] was God” and “the Word became flesh” (John 1:1,14). These verses clearly indicate that Jesus is God in the flesh. Acts 20:28 tells us, “Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood.” Who bought the church with His own blood? Jesus Christ. And this same verse declares that God purchased His church with His own blood. Therefore, Jesus is God!

Thomas the disciple declared concerning Jesus, “My Lord and my God” (John 20:28). Jesus does not correct him. Titus 2:13 encourages us to wait for the coming of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ (see also 2 Peter 1:1). In Hebrews 1:8, the Father declares of Jesus, “But about the Son he says, ‘Your throne, O God, will last forever and ever, and righteousness will be the scepter of your kingdom.’” The Father refers to Jesus as “O God,” indicating that Jesus is indeed God.

In Revelation, an angel instructed the apostle John to only worship God (Revelation 19:10). Several times in Scripture Jesus receives worship (Matthew 2:11; 14:33; 28:9, 17; Luke 24:52; John 9:38). He never rebukes people for worshiping Him. If Jesus were not God, He would have told people to not worship Him, just as the angel in Revelation did. There are many other passages of Scripture that argue for Jesus’ deity.

The most important reason that Jesus has to be God is that, if He is not God, His death would not have been sufficient to pay the penalty for the sins of the world (1 John 2:2). A finite created being, which Jesus would be if He were not God, could not pay the infinite penalty required for sin against an infinite God. Only God could pay such an infinite penalty. Only God could take on the sins of the world (2 Corinthians 5:21), die, and be resurrected, proving His victory over sin and death.

People – Study to shew thyself approved! There are many who would have you believe differently, turning the truth of God into a lie, justifying their own ways and unbelief with human rationalization and speaking to those with itching ears that would rather hear man’s doctrine than that of God’s truth! Nevertheless, at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ IS Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Amen!

MY Lord #Jesus is #Risen and LIVES #Easter –

And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen: (Luke 24:5-6)~ Jesus said that he came that we may have LIFE and have it more abundantly (John 10:10). He is the ONLY “GOD” that IS RISEN from the dead. EVERY other ‘representation’ man has come up with for a ‘god’ is dead.  Where are these ‘gods’ of the elements and power and strength; these ‘gods’ of various religions and sects and cults? What LIFE can they give us? What LIFE do they HAVE? How can we look for eternal salvation, divine protection and guidance or quality of life from a ‘god’ that is dead? How can we worship a ‘god’ that is created but created nothing? Every other ‘god’ that there ever was – died and worshipping them is to worship the dead. To worship Jesus is to worship THE living God! See, it is with divine and eternal purpose that Jesus died…But He is RISEN; YES!  HE GOT UP!!! All power in Heaven and Earth is His and all things are created by Him, for Him, in Him and through Him – without Him there is not one thing that ‘was’. In Him we live, we move and have our being! It is Him that we must seek…among the living…that is, we will not find the answers to life by seeking it in the world of dead ‘gods’ but in Christ, the ONLY true and LIVING God! I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the LIVING (Ps 27:13). Happy and Blessed Easter Sunday to you and your family!

O Death Where Is Thy Sting? #Easter –

O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Cor 15:55-57)~~ Death never shall appear in the eternity to which our Lord will bear His risen saints. Therefore let us have the full assurance of faith and hope, that in the midst of our pain, and in the prospect of death, we may think calmly on the horrors of the tomb; being assured that our bodies will there sleep, and in the mean time our souls will be forever present with the Lord. Sin gives death all its hurtful power. Indeed the sting of death is sin; but Christ…Yes..but JESUS, by dying, has taken out this sting! HE has made atonement for sin, OUR sin! HE did it! Yes, He has obtained remission of it. The strength of sin is the law and no one can answer its demands, endure its curse, or do away with his own transgressions. Hence we have terror and anguish. And hence death is terrible to the unbelieving and the impenitent. Death may seize a believer, but it cannot hold the believer in its power; for we know and have even experienced already the promises of the Lord! Springs of joy open up for the true believer, and an abundance of thanksgiving to God, is justified by the death and resurrection, the sufferings and conquests of the Savior! With that, be firm in faith my friend. As the Word commands, be steadfast and unmovable in your hope and expectation of this great privilege, of being raised incorruptible and immortal. And to abound in the work of the Lord, always doing the Lord’s service, and obeying the Lord’s commands. May Christ give us faith, and increase our faith, that we may not only be safe, but joyful and triumphant!

In Death, It’s Over; In #Jesus It is Finished! #GoodFriday –

After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, “I thirst”. Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a sponge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to His mouth. When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, He said, “IT IS FINISHED”: and He bowed His head, and gave up the ghost (John 19:28-30)~ It is finished; that is, the counsels of the Father concerning His sufferings were now fulfilled. It is finished; all the types and prophecies of the Old Testament, which pointed at the sufferings of the Messiah, were accomplished. It is finished; the ceremonial law is abolished; the substance is now come, and all the shadows are done away. It is finished; an end is made of transgression by bringing in an everlasting righteousness. His sufferings were now finished, both those of His soul, and those of His body. There is no more sacrifice for sins! All that is required in reconciling mankind with God…It is finished! Thank you Jesus – with death, we would assume that it is over, but through YOUR death…It Is FINISHED!! The work of man’s redemption and salvation IS now completed. Blessed be the name of The Lord!

#StopTheIgnorance- Don’t Blame God for the World’s Troubles! –

Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is now their God? But our God is in the heavens: He hath done whatsoever He hath pleased (Ps 115:2-3); ..Naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord. In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly (Job 1:21-22)~ Time and time again we find ourselves looking upon devastation and loss to mankind… Whether from natural disasters or from the evil that exists in the world driving the hearts of people in hatred, violence and other mean-spirited acts. People today seem to actually set out…yes, they actually plan to do evil and purposely fight against what is for the good! In all of the resolve of humanity, nothing truly prepares us for what we are now seeing! One thing for certain, whether it’s the minor infraction or the terrible tragedy, there seems to be no shortage of wrongheaded reactions that spring to the forefront. The unbeliever and even (unfortunately these days) the occasional “believer”, illegitimately robbing concepts of “good” and “evil” from the Bible, will adduce the tragedy to “prove” the absence of God. It’s a really sad day when you hear people saying they don’t KNOW if they believe in God because of all that they see. Or, they believe in God but not that He’s the loving, forgiving father and creator of all. They see in and extract from the world’s tragedies their own conclusion of proof that there is no sovereign and loving God, but a wrathful unconcerned super-tyrant that allows or even brings destruction and disaster as punishment for the iniquities of mankind…. We don’t always understand, but we have to accept what God “allows”; no matter how tough it is to experience! He is sovereign .. Absolutely righteous… He is God all by Himself…owing explanation or reason to no one. We must humble ourselves under the hand of God. Even if under all of our losses, we are reduced to our lowest and most ‘naked’ state. The same who gave hath taken away. This is the hardest of times for us to try and understand but even in this day, we must look above the circumstances, and keep our eye upon Him. Afflictions must not divert us from, nor turn us against, but quicken us to God. If in all our troubles we look to the Lord, He will support us because He is righteous, because He is good, because He is God! Hope in this truth is the strength of our resolve: I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living (Ps 27:13). All we have is from His gift and by His grace we are reserved to salvation! Discontent and impatience charge God with folly and incite man’s wisdom as the perceived greater good. Against these things we must carefully watch! God is not mocked and He’s CERTAINLY no fool! Even in our worst of circumstances, God alone is worthy of all glory, honor and praise! For those families and friends that are affected by the tragedies of these days…may all find true rest and peace in the arms of The Lord! May the unbeliever experience a life-changing revelation. May we all not wait until tragedy strikes to seek the face of The Lord!!!

It’s OUR #Choice .. #KnowGodKnowPeace -#NoGodNoPeace-

In transgressing and lying against the Lord, and departing away from our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood (Isa 59:13)~ funny how we can twist the Word of God to justify our choices to live outside of His word, but then wonder why there’s so much turmoil in the world around us and in our own lives! If we shut our eyes against the light of Divine truth, it is just with God to hide from our eyes the things that belong to our peace. But: Great peace have they who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble (Ps 119:165 ESV). God promises us a giant helping of peace when we do what His Word says. Following God’s ‘rules’ helps us make fewer mistakes, and we no longer have to worry about “stumbling” or getting hurt because of bad decisions. It’s like the rules we establish for our children such as watching for cars in the street, not playing with fire and always walk when you have sharp objects; there are things we know in our wisdom as parents that are beneficial to pass on to our children for their protection and care. When they live according to the wisdom in which we raise them up they don’t depart from this wisdom and they live better lives. Contrarily we see those that live a life of defiance and end up living in tumultuous situations and disgrace. Living according to God’s Word allows His peace to rule our hearts. As for God, His way is perfect: the word of the Lord is tried: He is a buckler to all those that trust in Him (Ps 18:30); The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes (Ps 19:8). Spin it, make excuses or justify it any way you want, but nothing will truly profit while we reject Christ and His gospel.  God doesn’t force us to do anything, He gives us free will and choice to go our way or His. The situations we face in the world are not because of HIS allowing them to be, but our own choice to go aside of His will and choose our own! Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts….(Rom 1:24) – What God is allowing is the result of our own actions…  If we choose to live like this we should expect to live… like this!

Don’t Be Afraid; Only #Believe –

More than 2000 years ago, a man named Jairus came to Jesus with an urgent request.  He said, “My little daughter is dying.  Please come and put your hands on her so that she will be healed and live.” While Jesus was on the way to the house of Jairus, some men came and said, “Your daughter is dead.  Why bother the teacher any more?” Overhearing and ignoring their message, Jesus said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid; just believe.” When Jesus arrived at the house, Jesus saw a commotion with mourners crying and wailing loudly.  Jesus said, “Why all this commotion and wailing?  The child is not dead but asleep.”  The mourners laughed at him. Jesus entered the child’s room, took her by the hand, and healed her (Mark 5:23-42)~ Jesus gave us the pattern for dealing with the challenges that we face in life: (1) When we overhear naysayers and negative thinkers reciting their litany of limitations, we are to ignore their message. Don’t listen to people shackled by disbelief who want to drag you down to their level. Nothing good comes from listening to negative thinking; (2) No matter what happens, we are not to give in to fear. Jesus said that all things are possible to him who believes. Are you going to listen to the voice of fear, or to what Jesus says?  All things are possible when you ignore fear’s limiting voice; (3) We are to believe and place our faith in God who is the source of our life. We must know that all is possible with Him and faith must rule our days. Impossible is not in God’s vocabulary, and it shouldn’t be in yours; (4) Don’t let the laughter and mocking of unbelievers discourage you or stop you in your tracks. If you do that, you will be listening to the wrong thing. Instead, listen to God’s voice of possibility and love. God has a purpose and plan for your life that is better than anything you can imagine. There is no limit to how good your life can become when you open your heart and mind to the power of his love. Your destiny is to have the last laugh, and that laugh will last for eternity; (5) Get in agreement with God and let Him work things out. God loves to work miracles in the lives of His children. Ask for a miracle every minute of every day. Jesus said, “Ask, and you will receive.” Don’t be afraid; only believe!!
