Jesus Will #FixIt After While! ~

fixit

Who is left among you that saw this house in her first glory? and how do ye see it now? Is it not in your eyes in comparison of it as nothing? Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the Lord; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be strong, all ye people of the land, saith the Lord, and work: for I am with you, saith the Lord of hosts: According to the word that I covenanted with you when ye came out of Egypt, so my spirit remaineth among you: fear ye not. For thus saith the Lord of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land; And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the Lord of hosts. The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the Lord of hosts. The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the Lord of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the Lord of hosts (Hag 2:2-9)~~ Many of us look at the state of the world today (pick your concern) and we feel SO discouraged because we remember how life used to be – what we saw as better times. It’s so apparent that the “world” is truly the enemy of God because in every instance we see, the “world’s” way of doing things is in total disregard to Him! It’s like there is nothing that can get the attention of today’s culture in its rampant persuasion of its population!

We must stay encouraged to continue in the goodness that God gives us, no matter how hard or discouraging it may seem. After all that we’ve seen in previous days, the sun still rose this morning, this day still happened! GOD IS STILL IN CONTROL and every day is a new mercy from Him and a new encouragement to continue on because His faithfulness is great and His compassion for us is unfailing. We must not grow weary in well doing for “His” due season is coming…a time when “He” will set the state of things once and for all. In progressing to that time though we must endure convulsions and changes; great revolutions and commotions. Jesus shall again come; as the desire of all; and desirable to all. The promise is that in Him shall all the earth be blessed with the best of blessings; and this is long expected and desired by all believers. We may have some good places even in this terrible time, but He went and prepared a place for us; a new ‘house’ in which we will spend eternity.

So let us be comforted that the glory of this latter house shall be greater than that of the former, in what will be beyond all the glories of the first house, far beyond any that we could imagine; in the presence of the Messiah, the Son of God, the Lord of glory, personally, and in absolute perfect nature. Nothing but the presence of the Son of God, in His own form and nature, can fulfill this. Jesus is the Christ, is He that should come, and we are to look for no other – not this preacher nor that bishop; not this president nor that king – but He who is the King of kings, Speaker to all nations and Savior of all souls! This alone is enough to silence the “ways of the world”, and condemn the obstinate rejection of Him. Finally as God is with us, peace is with us. The promise is fulfilled in that spiritual peace which Jesus Christ has by His blood purchased for all believers. All changes shall make way for Christ to be desired and valued by all. And the “world” shall have their eyes opened to behold how precious He is, whom they have until then rejected! It is fixed and it is finished!

For when God forgives sin, He forgives it all… FOREVER! #Grace #Mercy ~

Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He retaineth not His anger for ever, because He delighteth in mercy. He will turn again, He will have compassion upon us; He will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. (Micah 7:18-19)~ As our sin brought us into bondage, so God’s pardoning our sin brings us out. We cannot help but wonder in awe at that mercy; we have reason to stand amazed, if we really come to know what it is that He has done! When the Lord takes away the guilt of sin, that it may not condemn us, He will break the power of sin, that it may not have dominion over us. If it were left to ourselves to overcome and gain His pardon, our sins would be too hard for us for the price is a debt we cannot afford to pay; but God’s grace shall be sufficient to subdue our sins, so that they shall not rule us, and then they shall not ruin us. When God forgives sin, He takes care that it NEVER shall be remembered any more against us. He casts our sins into the sea; not near the shore-side (like we grudge-holders do), where they may appear again, but into the DEPTH of the sea, NEVER to rise again. ALL sins shall be cast there, for when God forgives sin, He forgives all…FOREVER! And what could make this even better? The fact that God DELIGHTS in mercy! He doesn’t do it begrudgingly, giving us the Holy Side-Eye as He forgives us, He DESIRES to have us forgiven, redeemed and reconciled! And He’s PLEASED to do it! Now THAT’S just AWE-Ful!

Where Art Thou? Stop Hiding Among The Trees #Repent ~

trees

And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself (Gen 3:9-10)~~ In our guilt, our response to God’s gracious pursuit is fear and hiding. Why are we afraid? Because our true, naked, fallen self is exposed. So we try to hide from God’s presence “among the trees.” We hide behind the trees of denial, respectability, busy-ness, false intimacy, status, wealth, power, alcohol, drugs and more. This “forest” is full and it is not hard to find a tree to hide from God’s pursuit.

Yet God calls— not because He doesn’t know where we are—but so that we look at ourselves in our hiding, and recognize “where we are”; hiding in that forest behind those trees.  In fact, even in the midst of our transgressions and guilt, in that forest of ’trees’, we are in His presence and He does see us. The Lord pursues us with a gracious pursuit with a view to recovery. He calls us to come out of our hiding! The heart of the unregenerate is filled with enmity against God, and God is justly offended with him. But for the repentant, for the one that comes to His call, there is reconciliation. Our offended God has reconciled us to Himself by Jesus Christ. By the inspiration of God, the Scriptures were written, which are the word of reconciliation; showing that peace has been made by the cross. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to Himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation (2 Cor 5:17-19). My friend, it’s time to come out from behind the trees. God is pursuing you! No need to be afraid. God calls: Where are you? What tree are you hiding behind and why? Come on out to me and Be ye reconciled!!

#Faith in Hearing; #Hope in Waiting: #Prayer in Purpose ~

img_3926

Now Faith is the substance of things HOPED for – the evidence of things NOT SEEN (Heb 11:1); How do we get it? Faith comes by HEARING and hearing by the Word of God (Rom 10:17); So, He who has ears let him HEAR (Matt 13:9) – So, what are you LISTENING to? How can you have faith to believe in what you hope for if all you’re hearing are seeds of doubt and negativity? Hear the Word of God that you may have HOPE! For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees?

But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly WAIT for it with perseverance – (Rom 8:24-25); But those who WAIT on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint (Isa 40:31);

But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, PRAYING in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life (Jude 1:20-21); But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive (Gen 50:20); And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to HIS PURPOSE (Rom 8:28).

No matter what is going on in your life, as much as it seems that it will defeat you, Faith is not about what you SEE; Don’t lose HOPE as you WAIT on the Lord, PRAYING for the strength that He gives you to persevere and knowing that even that which comes against you, HE will use for HIS PURPOSE to bless you!

Nothing can hurt you more than God can heal you; Nobody can hate you more than God loves you and regardless of how bad things get, they can’t outweigh how good God is!

Stop Worrying About What “They” Think! #GodMatters ~

In nothing be anxious; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus (Phil 4:6-7)~~ of all of the things we needlessly worry about, one of the biggest things people worry over is what another person thinks about them. Life is too short for any of us to spend time worrying about what other people think and say about us. I would almost bet that if they had anything positive going on in their own lives they wouldn’t have time to sit around and discuss yours anyway. It always seems that the unhappiest people in the world are those individuals who get too caught up in the opinions of people who don’t even matter, instead of how they truly feel about themselves. These people are so worried about how they look in someone else’s eyes…and misery loves company so they pass their judgement on you..and if you worry you’ll be the same old way. Therefore, why worry yourself about other people’s opinion of you?? It’s not important. Know what God thinks of you and what HE plans for you and let that be the basis for your opinion of yourself! When you are focused on how much God loves you, regardless of anyone else, you will realize that the only person who can pull you down… is you! So never give others the power to control your self-worth, your happiness, and your positivity! God loves you, regardless of what someone else thinks of you. You don’t NEED everyone’s approval, you’ve got God’s approval! As Romans 8:31 says: If God is for us, who is against us?

Don’t #SellOut On The Truth For a Lie ->

dont-sell-out.jpg

There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death (Prov 16:25)~ The enemy blinds the eyes of unbelievers, causing absurd reasonings in matters of religion. Whether men seek happiness in worldly things, or run into unbelief, superstition, or any false system, they feed on ashes…remnants of that which has been “created”, used and reshaped by man. The ideals of people and society have changed the truth of God into a lie, and people have come to worship and serve their own ways more than the Word of God (Rom 1:25). They have convinced themselves the Bible is foolish, hopelessly outdated, or written by religious fanatics. They love their own thoughts so much they will not accept correction from God nor His ambassadors! A heart deceived by pride, love of sin, and departure from God, turns us aside from His holy truth and worship. It’s gotten so that people hold fast to the ‘lie’ as the best treasure. Today’s hearts are set upon the wealth of the world and its pleasures. We must be careful to what we hold dear to our heart and soul! If we trust to outward professions and doings, as if those would save us, we deceive ourselves. He feedeth on ashes: a deceived heart hath turned him aside, that he cannot deliver his soul, nor say, Is there not a lie in my right hand? (Isa 44:20).

Keep Your Mind Stayed On The God You #Trust ~~

In today’s world, it’s so easy to feel lost.. like we’re out here on our own; trying to make it and hoping for some kind of peace. We pray but it’s still hard and every day it even tests our faith. But now, thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine (Isa 43:1) …and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age (Matt 28:20). The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace (Ex 14:14).

Then I remember that He is my God in whom I trust; from where my help comes! He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be moved. In God is my salvation and my glory; The rock of my strength, And my refuge, is in God. Trust in Him at all times, you people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us (Ps 62:6-8).

He’s always thinking about us and there’s a benefit when we trust Him and always think about Him: For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jer 29:11). How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them (Ps 139:17). You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You (Isa 26:3).
