The #Weight is Forever on His Shoulders! –

He was appointed by the majority of One! He has the irrevocable and eternal term as The Way, The Truth and the Life! Try what man will, He’s not going anywhere! The Roman government tried to intimidate Him. False religions still try to silence Him. The devil tried to kill Him. All failed and will forever continue to do so. Even “death was no match for Him”. Jesus, whom God raised up, having loosed the pains of death, because it was not possible that He should be held by it (Acts 2:24), has unimpeachable authority. He was not kidding when He declared, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me” (Matthew 28:18). Jesus is the command center of the universe. He occupies the Heavenly “office” and His Word is done as He speaks and intends, without negotiation, debate or vote. He called a coin out of the mouth of a fish (Matt 17:27). He stopped the waves with a word (Matt 8:26-27). He spoke, and a tree withered (Matt 21:19). He spoke again, and a basket became a banquet (Matt 14:15-21). Economy. Meteorology. Botany. Food supply. “All things have been handed over to Him by His Father” (Matthew 11:27). That includes Satan. The devil was soundly and infinitely defeated by Christ on the cross. Jesus outranks him in every situation. He must obey Jesus, and he knows it. Prayers offered in the name of Jesus have “divine power to demolish strongholds” (2 Cor 10:4). Demolish! Not damage or hinder but demolish! The weight (power and authority) of all is on His shoulders! No – Matter – What… God’s Government is established in and for all of eternity! His Will will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven!

Don’t Feed The Ignorance – #ShutUp Foolish Talk! –

Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him. Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own conceit (Prov 26:4-5) ~ No man can tame the tongue and there are many that pride themselves in not even trying to. There are those that make it their life’s mission to verbally degrade, disrespect and demoralize others. They will say anything just to get a rise (Or a LIKE) out of someone else. This is their ego on stage. The reaction they get simply feeds into it and encourages them to evolve in their self-promotion. Rather than feed into foolishness, see that you don’t repay evil with evil! Don’t stoop to their level of ignorance just to answer or rebuke them. Sometimes the best way to deal with and shut down mouthy people is to ignore them. One thing a grandstander loves is an audience. Don’t give them one and eventually they’ll exit stage left! Give no place to the devil; Rather, resist the devil and he will flee.

Why Should We Be Thankful? – #Thanksgiving2019 –

pio_cbb1844
O give thanks unto the Lord, for He is good: for His mercy endureth for ever. Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom He hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy (Ps 107:1-2)~~ As we focus on what we’re thankful for this week, let us not forget to be thankful that God is all about our good. We should be thankful that where people may have wrath on us and prefer our suffering and demise, HIS will upon us is mercy for our good. Be thankful that in His grace, the rules toward our infractions are pre-empted… He holds back what we deserve. Be thankful that rather than imposing the consequences of what we do, in His MERCY renders us righteous. Let us be thankful that when we are being ridiculous and only concerned about ourselves, focused on what we have, what we do and what we want.. even when we are turning our back to Him and committing our atrocities, His grace and mercy ENDURES our iniquities; yet “while” we were sinners, Christ died for us. Let us be thankful because although we are all “prodigal sons”, God allows to return to Him regardless of our state of affairs when we left or how long it’s been since we left or how we are when we come back. ..yes, His mercy endures FOREVER. Be thankful that It’s never too late to call upon Him! We are all redeemed in Him and by Him! As we celebrate Thanksgiving today and are in a mindset of gratitude, let us remain mindful of God’s grace and His desire for our good…and for that, He is worthy of and due our praise! As you reflect on why you should be thankful, remember that you are God’s treasure, fearfully and wonderfully made and He adores you! Now! Let us Give Thanks to the Lord for He is good and HIS mercy ENDURES FOREVER. Happy Thanksgiving!

#AskGod – It Is His Pleasure to #BlessYou ~

all needs supplied

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God (Phil 4:6); And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Phil 4:19).

As a father, there’s no one I’d rather bless than my own children. There’s no one I’d rather see increase and rise higher in life. It’s the same way with our heavenly Father. It gives Him pleasure to give His children His Kingdom. It brings a smile to His face.

If my own children never acted like I wanted to bless them and were always afraid to ask me for something, or acted like they were bothering me or intimidated, it would break my heart. I want them to be bold and come to me. I want them to ask for the desires of their hearts.

Today, know that God loves you with an everlasting love. He longs to be good to you. He wants you to come boldly to Him. He wants you to make your requests known. Trust that when you call on Him, He will answer. He will show you His love and lead you in everlasting life.

Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom (Luke 12:32)

We Must #Stand Upright In This Upside Down World! ~

Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter (Isa 5:20)~ Mankind has lost its spiritual equilibrium and inverted its values. We have ridiculed the absolute truth of God’s word. There are those who have set their hearts on the wealth of the world. Not that it is sinful for those who have a house or car or nice things to purchase another; but the fault is, that some never know when they have enough. Those who set their hearts upon the world, will justly be disappointed – never satisfied – never fulfilled. There are those who are extremely fond of the pleasures and the delights of sense. God’s judgments have seized them, but they will not turn themselves from their pleasures.

The enjoyment of life’s pleasures and treasures is lawful; God didn’t say we can’t enjoy life; but when it draws the heart and mind away from God, then it becomes a sin to us. There are those who set up in sin, and exert themselves to gratify their lusts. They are daring in sin, and walk after the lusts thereof. They misuse and argue to their own benefit the distinctions between good and evil. They create their own “reasonings” to divine revelations; prefer their own ‘choices’ to the counsels and commands of God. They deem it necessary to continue in profitable sins, and to neglect self-denying duties. How light we make of disorder and dysfunction in the world, in our homes and families, in our lives. We leave ourselves open to the wrath and curse of God. Our very judges and lawmakers pervert justice. It’s become that every sin needs another sin to conceal it and a new law to protect it. What’s worse is that there is an overwhelming desire nowadays to remain in this chaos!

Where do we see the need to repent of sins and openly to avow our belief in Jesus as the Savior, by being baptized in His name? When will we take such energy to professing our faith in Him, that we may partake of the gifts and graces of the Holy Spirit? Those who repent of their sins, and give up themselves to Jesus Christ, prove their sincerity by breaking off from the influences of the enemy. We can’t do a little here and there and think we won’t get caught up – taking fire into our bosom will surely burn us! We must move ourselves to avoid it with dread and holy fear. SUBMIT yourselves therefore to God. RESIST the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7).

Jesus Told Us To #StayWoke Yet We Sleep! ~

Then He came and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, “ Simon, are you sleeping? Could you not watch one hour? Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” Again He went away and prayed, and spoke the same words. And when He returned, He found them asleep again, for their eyes were heavy; and they did not know what to answer Him (Mark 14:37-40)

WE have fallen asleep on our watch! As the world continues to get worse and worse; As the ‘way of the world’ builds upon itself and justifies itself; Christians, believers, we stand idly quiet and suppress the Truth that we were commanded to stand upon. It doesn’t take much of a lapse in alertness to become desensitized to the spiritual reality upon us by the pseudo-comforting distractions around us. Staying awake spiritually involves looking past the clamor of worldly attractions. It’s about our spiritual awareness – it’s about perceiving the presence of the kingdom of Heaven growing up like wheat among the tares of modern society. But we have lost our spiritual edge and focus and as a result, we are not aware of the ongoing revealing of the Kingdom and the immanent coming of our Lord! We are more and more finding ourselves conforming to the ways of the world; being accepting and even partaking of things that we in our spirits know that God opposes and timidly sitting quietly regarding the Truth of God. Rather than walking in that Truth that we are so well versed in, we settle in to the crowd in fear of being the standout and possibly the cast out!

Jesus told the disciples to watch and pray, yet we are not praying; for all sorts of reasons. We are getting up in the morning after sleeping until the last minute because we worked or played too hard last night and we’re not giving God the glory for waking us up this morning! We are so career, socially or entertainment occupied throughout the day that we don’t hear the Word of God trying to guide us through our day and rather than giving Him glory for helping us make it through the day, we are praying a rehearsed memorization – if we even remember to do it after we turn off the TV and plug in our electronics for the night. We won’t even talk about the last time we went to church! Our Bibles have more dust on them than the unused dining room table and not only are we setting a bad pace, our children are learning from us!

Our lack of relationship with God has us unprepared to face the world we must live in and worse, it has us unprepared to witness His impending coming. Let this be a ‘WAKE UP’ to all of us – as the world continues to worsen, our spiritual alertness must intensify! If we are to stay awake spiritually we need to listen closely to what Jesus is saying. We need to read Scripture with our minds and hearts, with our eyes and ears. Jesus said it so often: “He who has ears to hear, let him hear.”

As the world continues in its tailspin, we have to be diligent to stand on and for the Truth of God. Accepting the politically correct so as not to offend is not part of God’s command to love thy neighbor! We must not waiver in our faith or in our function with regard to the direction of the spirit versus the comfort of our flesh – that means we will make unpopular decisions and even stand alone in our opposition to the world view at times. We must be mindful of the tricks of the father of lies (satan) that twist and manipulate the Truth to set the motions of the world! And we must keep a strong relationship with the Lord to ensure our preparedness for what is to come! Jesus said “watch and pray,” but they slept. Jesus’ passionate praying before His betrayal prepared Him to receive God’s will—even in suffering and death—with power and grace. If we are to stay awake in the midst of a world in a spiritual stupor, then we need to be diligent in prayer. No wonder Paul advises to “pray without ceasing” (1 Thess. 5:17). Jesus was praying and they were supposed to as well. Listening and praying won’t tell us when Jesus is coming again, but it will get us ready to receive Him when he comes. May we, as the bride of Christ, stay awake as we eagerly await His glorious coming!

Blessed Wherever You Go – It’s Amazing! #FriendOfGod ~

friendofGod

What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? (Ps 8:4);…and the Lord helped David wherever he went.” (1 Chr 18:6, NASB)~ What an honor, that Almighty God would concern Himself with the affairs of mankind, let alone the tasks of a single man or woman. I’ve often been inspired by some of the “high achievers” that I know. I have wondered at times how they get so much accomplished! While first mind would give credit to their work ethic, their talents and natural personality traits, excessive self-esteem, or grand skills in any discipline or organization, God, who breathed existence into time itself, the mastermind off all things, the One that is above all and who existed before the beginning was…knows when every sparrow falls, knows the count of every atom of every thing simultaneously, has promised to “never leave us nor forsake us.” Each of us is given our ‘own’ individual, personalized and specialized measure of grace. Talents and all of the benefits of human effort and stamina are great things but we must acknowledge God’s provision. High achievement in life is a special gift but not unique for God. In fact, God has promised to help us as well, that by His grace, we are who we are! It’s absolutely overwhelming to ponder the depth of His being and yet realize His consideration of us!

To lament on where we are right now and where God has brought us, it’s absolutely certain just how much He has been there for us; helping us, leading us, blessing us and working things out for us. I can’t keep track of how many times God has moved me into a position that avoids trouble – keeping me out of harm’s way although I might have even seen it coming; and even more that I didn’t even KNOW was coming until I turned a corner; or finally, what could have come but He rebuked FOR MY SAKE; walking with me and even CARRYING me through the valley of the shadow of death! I absolutely believe that having a relationship with Him, although I don’t always maintain it to my best, comes with an incomparable benefit. God truly blesses us in all things and in all times, even ‘through’ our struggles (yes, the struggles..the fact that we live to look back on it proves that He blesses us IN it and THROUGH it).

So, let’s start with acknowledging Him today.  Let’s ask God to help us…wherever we go. In asking, commit to go in the paths of His righteousness and not to lean on our own understanding (Prov 3:5-6). Pray that we do not grieve nor quench the Holy Spirit (Eph 4:30), thwarting God’s desire to answer our prayers. Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness before we seek any other matters of this world (Matt 6:33). And, in faith and thanksgiving, believe that the Lord will help you…wherever you go. Lord how excellent is thy name in ALL the Earth!

Who am I that You are mindful of me; That You hear me when I call?

Is it true that You are thinking of me?

How You love me it’s amazing!!!

Don’t Complain About The Pain – Rejoice In #Faith ~

NO-MORE-COMPLAINING-2-475x300

Now when the people complained, it displeased the Lord…(Num 11:1)…Do all things without complaining and disputing (Phil 2:14)~

As much as we’ve heard of how bad it’s been all over, life’s little challenges want to make their way to my house (yeah, I called them little cause they’re smaller than my God and even they have to abide by His Word). I could complain, but what would it do? I will still have these challenges – but praise God I’m not dead. I could complain about being in this situation or that situation, but praise God, many are in hospitals, or don’t have a way out of their situations; but I see a way through my valley! There’s so much I could complain about but even in those areas I have more to praise God for and that praise is my expression of faith in Him, which I know pleases Him. I can gripe about my situation and be an old mad crabby man or I can keep a positive attitude that I’m going to heal and along the way God has blessed me with provisions to take care of my issues! It’s my choice! This is horrible to go through but my spirit is still happy, this is stressful but I won’t complain!

My friend: God doesn’t want us to be complainers, He wants us to live with a spirit of joy and thanksgiving. The Bible tells us that the tongue has the power of life and death. The truth of that is found all through the Bible even in just the things that happened when God spoke! Imagine the power released when we constantly complain…. we are constantly giving life to negativity, stress, bad experiences and troubles. We are literally giving those things that bother us…more power to bother us! Go on a no-complaining fast.. Permanently!!! It will change your whole approach on life. It will help you experience more of the peace and joy that God wants for you, and it will help you build strong, positive relationships with others. You have the power to choose your beliefs and the actions around them. Eliminating those negative beliefs and issues starts by taking away their power: don’t complain about the pain, the stressful things, the issues and tribulations. As much as they are in you, they will start to leave when you stop waking them up by complaining about them!  Those people and those things that spark negativity; that irritate you; that get on your last nerve… move on past them! They’re not worth the stress! This is not denial of their existence, it’s just denial of the power they’re trying to have over your life! And in your focus on the positive instead of the negative you’ll find the faith, strength and confidence to take on life’s challenges and identify the solutions to your complaints. So rather than whine, moan and groan, or throw pity parties, here’s what you do: Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you (1 Thes 5:17-18)

I’ve had some good days; I’ve had some hills to climb; I’ve had some weary days; And some sleepless nights; But when I look around And I think things over; All of my good days Outweigh my bad days; I won’t complain. Sometimes the clouds are low, I can hardly see the road. I ask a question, Lord; “Lord, why so much pain?” But He knows what’s best for me, Although my weary eyes They can’t see..So I’ll just say thank you Lord; I won’t complain.
