If We Would Just #AskGod – He’s Happy To Do It!

Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom (Luke 12:32)~~ As a father, there’s no one I’d rather bless than my own children. There’s no one I’d rather see increase and rise higher in life. It’s the same way with our heavenly Father. It gives Him pleasure to give His children His Kingdom. It brings a smile to His face.

But when Pride and Fear step in, we start to think we can just do it on our own and that we don’t NEED help; or we are afraid to ask for fear that He will reject us or worse, make us feel undeserving. When when we don’t ask His provision… His help, we go our own way. We may get there but we often wander aimlessly looking for signs and answers and it makes our way so much harder when we could have simply asked and received. When we are aligned with His purpose for us, He says “If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. (John 14:14)”. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose. (Rom 8:28).

If my own children never acted like I wanted to bless them and were always afraid to ask me for something, or acted like they were bothering me or intimidated, it would break my heart. I want them to be bold and come to me. I want them to ask for the desires of their hearts. It doesn’t mean I’ll say yes to everything, they have to be in good purpose. Sometimes the answer is no; but I don’t want them going their own way because they feel they can’t just ask. Today, know that God loves you with an everlasting love. He longs to be good to you. He wants you to come boldly to Him. He wants you to make your requests known. Trust that when you call on Him, He will answer. He will show you His love and lead you in everlasting life. Just Ask- He’s happy to do it!
