For we WALK by faith, not by sight (2 Cor 5:7)~~ Faith, Hope, Love. It’s an easy thing to SAY that you believe or have hope or love. It’s an easy thing to feel these things. But they are not situated in just what we say or our feelings. Each of these is situated in our feet. The strength of our faith, hope and love is not determined by our words, thoughts or feelings. Each is validated by the steps you take, not the butterflies you feel. They say actions speak louder than words. Well if you’ve got faith, do you just sit there in faith and wait for something to happen or do you go make something happen in faith of what you claim to believe? If you have hope, do you sit there content in your hope or do you move in confidence? If you claim you love someone do you just exist there with them or do you express that love toward them? Jesus told Peter to DO something with that love he claimed to have (John 22:15-22). You say you have these things in you. God keeps us here one more day, every day to DO something… Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith BY my works (James 2:18). Anybody can claim to have these things! It’s easy to SAY the right things… now back it up!! If you do not act on the faith, hope and love you claim to have, they are not real. Faith without works is dead (James 2:20). WALK the TALK!!
