He will swallow up death forever; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces, and the reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth, for the Lord has spoken. It will be said on that day, “Behold, this is our God; we have waited for him, that he might save us. This is the Lord; we have waited for him; let us be glad and rejoice in his salvation.” (Isa 25:8-9 ESV)~~ There is that in the Truth which strengthens and makes glad the heart, and is fit for those who are under trials and tribulations and mourning for it. Christ himself, in his resurrection, triumphs over death. Grief shall be banished; there shall be perfect and endless joy. Those that mourn shall be comforted. Those who suffer for Christ shall have consolations. But in the joys of heaven, and not short of them, will fully be brought to pass this saying, God shall wipe away ALL tears. The hope of this will do away with sorrow, and all weeping. Sometimes, in this world God takes away the reproach of his people from among men; however, it will be done fully at the great day. Let us patiently bear sorrow now; for it will be done away shortly!
And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away (Rev 21:4); Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning (Ps 30:5).
