CHRIST can’t be ‘Crossed’ out..

Much people of the Jews therefore knew that he was there: and they came not for Jesus ‘sake only, but that they might see Lazarus also, whom he had raised from the dead. But the chief priests consulted that they might put Lazarus also to death; Because that by reason of him many of the Jews went away, and believed on Jesus (John 12:9-11)~ Even around the time when Jesus was born, there was an interest in Him that on the surface may have been the appearance of sincerity but was truly with a motive to silence Him completely. Herod was not to be upstaged by anyone! He asked the wise men to share their information about meeting the baby Jesus, so that he too may come to worship. Yet Herod had another plan in mind… preserving his own power. It’s intriguing how the world claims to be interested in knowing the miraculous works of Christ; but only to the point of wanting to suppress it in order to further man’s own intent over the Will of God! Even today, there are many who will come into the knowledge of God only that they will be able to develop a strategy to circumvent the message of Light and promote themselves. When the Truth of God frees us, that thing we are being freed of is that thing the evil of world desires that we hold on to. So the enemy, through the laws of the world, will then seek to kill, steal and destroy the truth of God in the efforts to turn us back to ‘the world’ because the goal of the enemy is to steal us from God, kill our relationship with Him and destroy our salvation. Laws and common desires, social modernization, political and social stature… these “facts” as the carnal mind would contend…do not make a thing righteous in the sight of God. No matter how compelling the argument, no matter how charismatic the speaker, let no opinion sway your belief in the true Lord of all things! Let nothing silence your message, let nothing keep you from your worship of Him! For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Rom 8:38-39). The truth of God cannot be challenged or destroyed by the majority rule and it’s validity cannot be changed by swaying the opinion of man! Truth is truth, no matter how much the ‘times change’! The grass withers, the flowers fade, times indeed may change, but the Word of the Lord shall stand… uncompromising and unchanging, forever!
